VKG Woven Edges

Conventional slit-edge labels produced on rapier looms cause irritation to the wearer of a garment if the label is touching the skin. The wearer may feel uncomfortable in such a case even if the garment is well designed with soft-feel fabrics and non-hurting trims. However, it is very rarely that the consumer complains to the retailer or the brand-owner.

The simple route he takes is to cut or tear off such label to avoid itch/irritation. This, in effect means that the very identity of the brand-owner gets destroyed and the consumer may tend to forget the brand name of the product.

One way to prevent this is to use Woven Edge Woven Labels in garments, especially in cases where the label is likely to come in direct contact with the skin.
